I'm Laura Bird.  I have been a Wilson Ranger for 13 years and have been teaching for 19 years.  I have taught ESL, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, dual language, and reading intervention for 4th and 5th graders.  

 

I grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech with degrees in psychology and education. I married my college sweetheart seventeen years ago. Our son Hudson will be a sophomore at Coppell High School this year.  My hobbies are reading, traveling, learning, cooking, and spending time with my crazy boys.  They keep me laughing! 

 

I am so excited to be moving to 5th grade this year.  I know we are going to have a great year together!
