I'm so excited to be teaching 5th grade again this year.  This will be my third year to teach 5th grade and my seventeenth year as an educator.    I have an undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in Elemenatry Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.  I also have a Masters of Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University.  I've been married to Mr. Yancey for four years.  Together we have three dogs named Olivia, Oscar and Dixie and two birds, a Pineapple Green Cheek Conure named Molly and a Cockatiel named Mauricio (Mo.)  I also have a class parakeet named Daisy.  I've been blessed to call Wilson home for the past three years and I'm looking forward to another great year!
